4 Car Colonial Cottage Garage With Big Loft -
This is a "guy's" garage with the looks to please a lady! Up to four cars! Plus a 10' optional drive-through garage door on the back garage wall! One and a half story. 12/12 pitch rafter roof. A pair of 4x4 windows at each side gable end provides 8' of glass for light at each end! Plan has one continuous 17' shed dormer across the front and a matching 17' shed dormer/ entry across the back to provide more usable floor space upstairs. Each dormer has two 4x4 windows. Exterior staircase in back. The second 16' garage door on the left is called out as "optional" on the plans so an owner could have a large shop or hobby room in that space instead of parked cars. No posts on main level. Only this one plan could require one post in the loft to add more support to the ridge, depending on your local area.
